THE PLAYSHOP (it’s play not work )
In these three days you’ll have more than 18 hours of learning how to plan, start and facilitate a Drum Circle. Helga Reihl and Ben Flohr will share their knowledge, experience and joy in making community recreational music.
No musical knowledge presumed, no drumming skills needed. You work with groups of peoples or you want to do this in the future? Teacher, musician, therapist, working with elderly people or simply someone who has fun in making spontaneous music with other people? This is the right address for you
Additionally you meet lots of kindred spirits, experienced DC facilitators as well as beginners. After playshop we can hang out, talk, drum…
Instruments provided. If you’d like to bring your favorite drum you’re welcome.

THE TRAINERTEAM
Helga Reihl and Ben Flohr are musicians and drum circle facilitators themselves with many years of practical experience.
Helga Reihl is well known in the DC scene for her critical and far-sighted work on various aspects of drum circle facilitation. In addition to her in-depth experience in the Drum Circle, not least her studies in social work, her many years of work as a counsellor and her empathetic, calm manner make her the heart of the trainer team.
Ben Flohr is part of the international VMC Global trainer team. With his past as a professional drummer and his DC experience in pretty much every context imaginable, he is responsible for the technical, loud and energetic in this duo.
