Join ‘Jamtown’ John Hayden with special guest Jim Boneau in a 3 day  drum circle facilitation Playshop. We will identify the steps to facilitate a community rhythm-based event and practice skills to reinforce understanding. Walk away with the confidence, tools, and inspiration to lead your community or specific population on amazing musical journeys.

Village Music Circles™ Drum Circle Facilitation Programs distill the challenge of rhythm-based event management into layers built one exercise at time. Hands-on practice for all participants is the focus of this training. We’ll share techniques and technology and time in front of each other practicing. Adding your unique personality and spirit will help you to ‘own’ the material. This program is authored by Arthur Hull and Jim Boneau. Jim will join us & share his insights after almost 20 years of development with Arthur.

Learn how to start, stop, sculpt & arrange grooves while moving a group toward its highest musical potential. Or just have fun and make the world a more musical place! This workshop is for:

Saturday July 24th 10am-2pm Community Circle 3-5pm

Bring your own drum or we will provide one. Small percussion is also welcome. We will choose certain instruments to balance the circle.
