Simon Faulkner

Simon Faulkner is a Master level counselor with a background in psychology and addiction, who uses rhythm to develop social and emotional health in his work with children, and adults dealing with adversity.

Simon developed a model of rhythm and reflection for personal development that has given rise to a number of award winning psycho-social interventions used by therapists internationally. He is the author of the book Rhythm2Recovery – a practical guide to the use of rhythm for psycho-social health.

Simon has experience working in schools, prisons, mental health and trauma services and has led research into the health benefits of rhythmic music. He is a passionate advocate for the rights of the disadvantaged and the power of rhythmic music to transform lives.
